It's a rent based deal.

They're covering up the bad paint job they did on the front of the houses, some stupid Kobold went and bought poster paints with the money he was given.

Houses look nice n all but still worried they will be a big waste of dosh, with nothing worthewhile in them, Reckon they will ever add something good to them such as Class specific addistions to the house, Example, a Sorc can store pets there at a small up-keep charge for feeding etc.. Can be charmed by players if the sorc allows. also give the bible bashes something like a healer for free constitution reparing on the owner Prolly a few classes that would be a bit hard to think of a decent adition like this but still would give the houses something other than looks, I mean, whos gonna use any of the merchants/portals/bind stones if every single house has 1 and all in a relativly close location, diff matter if the zones were spread out near hunting zones.
