Albion 4 the win if u play a gimb char!!!

Hallo,

i think we have a bit more players (who cares, most are noobs -->like me perhaps--> more realmpoints 4 u)

We have better stealthers, with bb perhaps, because we outnumber u.

But the other 95% of chars are gimbed in rvr (and all know this),
no albgroup can beat a good (very good) hib or midgroup if albs only playing on the same or a bit higher level!!!!!!! And i must say it with a whining eye, yes there are some (few) of good players at other realms too .-), meet them sometimes.

Btw i think hibs can make best meleegroup, better then mids:
druid druid druid bard bm bm bm shieldtank, because of gp and instaroot and pets to go on healers (healpower is all).
Hibcastergroup if rr5 and well played is very nice too.

The advantage of alb is we need many classes 4 rvr groups (pala, 2clerics, theurg, mincer, sorc, dettank, dettank) and the rest of albs know that they suck and have the balls to join rvr with gimb groups. I have never seen groups like this with 1friar as mainhealer, necros, wizis, no mincer, no sorc and so on at other realms. So they learnt to live with it and move in bigger groups because they know they would die if they meet random hib or midgroups. Thats all.

Solution, give the ability to transfer ur level 50 chars with realmrank to one other realm without autotrain, gold, amor and stuff and alb would be empty in no time, because we are so ueber!!! .

The single GGs that alb are easily level with those from hib/mid but it all depends on RA's who has what and what is up at the time.

Our GG often runs 'gimped' because we dont care about being uber etc we out to have fun - Today we had Druid, 2x bards, Ranger, Voidy, Animist and Light Menta and Champ and still managed to do well.

imo the classes in the grp are not that important, how the classes are played tells the story. Unless ofc u a mid fotm grp.

Alb tankgroup > Hib tankgroup if played equally well by both sides and same RR, RA's up etc.

Yes, Hibs got 2 Grouppurges but that aint too important for a tankgroup with Determination on the offense. BOF and SOS matter much much more, also the fact end-regen on Albion is much more 'steady' then the one on Hibernia.

Midgard rules the tank-groups due to the fact they can run with 3 healers and dont have such fragile stuff like sorcerers or bards in their group. And they got savages, ah well...

Next patch it might be Albion who rules the tank-game, who knows. With the savage abit toned down and all the goodies Albs have (spec AF, heal-chant, Faitheal, better end-regen over the board, SoS, BOF, mincer ablative, etc etc) they might come out first if they run in a good group.

For PB-groups Hibernia clearly rules. BAOD, Grouppurge, TWF, a shitload of pets, high dex casting-race, selfdebuffing casters for DD's, you name it, they got it. Midgard is on a good second spot because of intercepting pets, AE stun (it matters) combined with insta CC of all forms, nice interrupts from shaman, amnesia all over the place etc etc.

Next patch mid still have best tank group if you don't include ra's but if you do alb and mid are pretty even, bof+sos is overpowered to be honest, can use sos then 2xbof and be immune for 90s(depending on how the people in group react to when sos being used)

Though i wouldn't underestimate a hib tank group with 4.3 piercers on all bms in it, it's not nice to be on the end of :E

Hib tank group seems to get very good at high rr though, especially having a det tank guarding, when alb can't really have that in their best group set ups.People whining how overpowered each realm is or how crap their one is, once you have played all 3 at lv50 and in rvr you will realise there is only a few overpowered things in each realm(mainly ra's) which make it seem this way when really the realm's classes in general aren't overpowered in any realm.(there's only 3 overpowered classes really in my view, one from each realm too)

It's the ra's really that makes a realm overpowered, whoever has them up usually wins sadly.

the point is... they can beat them on even terms every 30 mins only...
cause... BoF + SoS are very nice ras and been a major whine from other realms for like ages... the thing is they last 30 secs... and have a 30 min timer...
insta aoe desease on shammy lasts alot longer, and is on a 8s timer... and BTW IT FOOKING INTERRUPTS this is ballance?
i'm not talking even about savages cause all have been said... but well another difference on mid/hib grp is allways that both mids and hibs on (theoretically speaking) perfect setups need 3 or 4 classes no more... in alb to have the same amount of resources u needed prolly 8 classes... not to mention major cc'er is a cloth wearer, no decent insta cc, no class with decent desease etc etc etc etc etc...

RB have won some nice 1 vs 1 battles with some good/very good mid/hib grps... they we're made with skill ofc... with realm vs realm experience ofc... but one thing i'm sure in most... mincer had SOS up and at least one cleric BOFED... if not 2....
