Ak 47 Madness

Dunno whether its just me taking the first steps for N00bdem and becoming a true CS player BUT. Has anyone noticed how weird the AK 47 is.

For Example: One minute i crouch in a great well concealed sniper point and take well aimed and controlled shots.......I hit nothing but dust.

The next minute im strafing through doorways and hitting about 3 hs with lucky spray fire.



I swear those guns have got a mind of there own......

the AK is brilliant for flukey headshots yea

but, it's great for most circumstances because of the accuracy and ire power.
if you were crouched and fired 3 shots then you should have hit. the most likely occurance is that you wernt on target.

we all do it, fire at someone, fire a 2nd burst, then get killed, and know exactly how high above their head you were hitting them..just one of those things.

maybe its the hotboxes. I am sure they aint sorted as they claimed. Better certainly but sorted. . i dont think so

I swear if you aim at the head when enemy has a knife out nothing happens. I am gonna test it with meh clan

its taking me a while to get out of the habit of crouching.now with the hitboxes as they are,some geezer coming towards you,you crouch and fire,he shoots at kinda waist height-hey presto head shot.i wonder how much of this "its always a hs" stuff can be put down to that?

I saw a taliban execution once which involved 2 men with AK47s, very inaccurate things, at point blank range the distance between the bullet holes could be measured in feet. Also very little blood came out of the holes, holywood lies.

I think BW CS servers have started to liven up again - as ch3t said a bit further up, I think the port change was a bit of a disaster. As to the cheat problem - theres a lot of new player who instantly accuses experienced older players of cheating - and once one person cries cheat, more often than not a witch hunt starts.

The only probs BW, imo, are having at the moment are the random server crashes - I've been on the dual duster (which, admittadly, seems to be right in the middle of the cheat accusation whirlwind) several times in the past week when it has been reset.

Well whilest I was in the SAS I stumbled into a town........ no I saw it on pne of those execution videos. But I did come across a couple of dead bodies in Spain when I was a kid, they were Germans who hadn't obeyed the flag rules on a rough day at sea and drown.

Anyway, yeah, AK 47. Shoots 4 inch groups at 50 odd meters, but thats from the prone position on single shot.

Anyway, yeah this video I saw was horrible, the guy's jaw was obliterated on one side, and some yellow stuff seeped out of the hole, he was alive for about 2 minutes before he finally gave up, its really sickening to see, really does give you nightmares and opens your eyes to the real world and not Arnie taking on an army with a bullet in his shoulder.

I'm talking about the guy who got shot you fool, I'm saying that the guy took 2 minutes to die from 2 bursts from an AK47, it wasn't instant death like it is in the movies, and he took one bullet in the face.
