Quick question - is/are the rest of their album(s) as good?

Moon Safari
10000 HZ Legend!
Virgin Suicides (more of a soundtrack to a film called errrm u guessed it)

Pioneers of all things lush related, 10000 hz is a little different to the blissed out tones of moon and premiers, more dark and twisted but utterly superb (my best album of 2002)

I went to see them in sheffield and was the best gig i ever seen. MAN just do it ;)

Im more of a lofi rock fan, soul ska reggae rock n roll but they blow me away every time i hear them, dont get me wrong zero 7 is an ok band but i found the album a little tedious after repeated listenings but have yet to bore with air after 5 years of being a huuge fan

Oh and btw they aint my fave band, u dont want to start me on that one ;)

PS Im also starting to think that this years greatest album as awarded by me well end up in the hands of te white stripes - Elephant is a STONKING listen if u can get hold of it (ahem)

Tracks done by Air butchered by 'other artists' dont go down in my book that well either, 1 or 2 mixes are ok

horses for courses, not all the albums (with the exception of 10000 hz legend) is 100% excellent but the tunes that work REALLY work

STand out track on all 3 main albums

Moon safar - le femme de la argent
Premiers sympomes - gordini mix (iirc)
10000 HZ Legend - Electronic performers

oh from some article I read in NME i'm under the impression that the bird is his ex-wife. it was in an article about the fact that, apprently, he is going out with someone from the von bondies(not the one going out with the guy from the datsuns obviously).


course it might not be true.

The White Stripes are Ex Husband and wife, its a myth that they are brother and sister.

Jack White is dating Marcie Von Bondie(marcie bolan)

also, i dont ever recall Jack White saying 'I wish I was a black man living in 1920s Alabama'

as most of his music is derived and influenced by late 50s blues, Led Zep and recorded in Lo-Fi style...hes clearly digging dirty blues and shizzle.

mind you, if i were to be shown an interview with him saying such things....
on the other hand, why does it matter anyway

The White Stripes, despite the NME hyperbole are one of the best bands in the world today.

If you really care that much I'll dig up said interview, but I doubt as you've suggested it'll make a difference.

Also try this statement on for size; "Just because other people don't agree with my taste in music it doesn't make them bad people"

I REALLY hate students.

Its just music with a lot of heart and soul put into it, elephant is amazing and as i also said no whiny fucks singing on it.
