Anyone here know where I go to enable / disable side band addressing??? I've got an Asus P2b mobo and on wpcpuid, in chipset info it says::

Status Command

Data Rate 1x2x 2x

Side Band Addressing Supported Disabled

I dunno what side band addressing does either but mines pretty smooth in games with it on. My system is:

2x Celerons @ 570
384MB ram
TNT 2 Pro / 32mb

Q3 FPS in all low settings, 800x600 (how i play) is 75

The Asus P2B is:

Celeron 800 @ 800 :)
192MB ram
GeForce II MX 200

Q3 FPS in mid settings with some high, 800x600 is 79 with no aa.

Does that side band addressing make it any faster or slower and if it does, how do i enable / disable it:confused:

Guess it depends:

1. If you like them
2. How you use them ;)
