Age of Mythology Install Problems

Help Needed

I have just bought Age of Mythology and am having some install/set up problems. It goes through CD1 ok. Then when I get to CD2 my system slows down and the set up of the game stops at 90% It seems to be when its installing a sound file. Its a genuine version of the game(i.e. not a copy) so I dont think it will be the CD

My system is as follows

Leadtek nForce2 Motherboard
Athlon XP2000+
512mb PC2100 DDR RAM
ATI Radeon 9700 Pro Graphics Card
16X DVD ROM

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Age of Mythology. Install problems

Forgot to mention that my case is a 350Watt Chieftec case with 2 extra cooling fans and a King Kong System cooler as well. Operating System is Windows XP Pro
