Age of Empires II: Forgotten Empires

Anyone played this unofficial expansion? It's got me hunting around for my AoE2 install disc.

2012 also saw to the release of a freeware, unofficial expansion for The Conquerors, titled Age of Empires II: The Forgotten Empires. Apart from introducing widescreen compatibility and Windows Vista/7/8 support for the first time in the Age of Empires II series, it also added numerous new technologies, units, tweaks for the existing factions, a smarter and more aggressive AI, as well as five new civilizations: the Hungarians, the Incas, the Indians, the Italians and the Slavs.

As if I need an excuse to re-play AoE2.

I heard about it like ages ago, is it released now? AoE II was one of my alltime favourites!

Cool. Loved AoK, although I'm in the minority that thinks AoM was even better
