I'll keep this brief - am looking for ideas why I can't see any of the stuff that happens regarding /random #

People do lottos for items, even I do lottos for items occasionally, but for all I know I could be rolling 100's every time. As I don't see any messages for my roll (or anybody elses) it's a tad hard to tell - and it's also started to bug me.

The chat window I'm in is set to display all the possible types of item - and I'm told other people can see what I roll.

Any suggestions as to cause of problem welcomed.

P.S. In my capacity as one of the top Albion Tailors it would be churlish of me not to plug my range of top quality (100/99%) items for sale. PM in game for details.

Well your obviously no newb, but it might be worth a mention anyway ..... it should display in the top half of the chat window. I believe you can customise the colour of different text types and/or disable them entirely. Might be worth checking that it's not disabled/same colour as the background of the box. iirc the text is grey for this.

aye top window(happening window.not the chat window) think default is light grey or something.and be sure to have removed spell pulse from it or u might be flooded whit pbt... messages.

check the box for that text is checked in your profile when you right click.

It dont show too well is the chat box gamma is turned down too low too.

2 places to right-click to change text. Clicking the tabs at the top gives you chat options to toggle, clicking in the top text box gives you options for messages displayed in there (this is the one you want).


As said above, default colour is grey and not easy to see if your alpha setting is low. Try changing either the alpha or the text colour. (I'm not certain if there's actually a setting for this text type though).

Cheers all - just remembered I'd posted this, so will try some of this later. Wouldn't surprise me if it is a contrast issue - I do have the alpha on this box set way low....
