Ello.
I'm new to this camera buying business, and I'd quite like to get a really solid decent non-DSLR prosumer camera. I'm looking to spend roughly £300 and I'm after something that'd be good enough to take snaps at a GT race/anything similar. I'd also like to be able to take arty farty nature/cityscape snaps and use it to take pictures of friends and all of that gumf too. So basically I want an all rounder, but something better than those compact jobbies.
I've already spoken to Nos about this and had recommendations of this and this. Both seem like pretty damn good cams, but wouldn't mind some other opinions too. £300 is pretty much all I can afford, but if there's something spectacular, I could probably push it a bit.
TIA.
