my modem can take its lag and shove it up its arse. I NEED A LOWER PING. The only broadband hybrid available to me(i think) is the bt one. ADSL....or is it ISDN...christ only knows. Anyway £40 quid a month blah, blah, and im in AHL heaven..All i gotta do know is convince the girlfriend all that expense is worth it. Soooo any 1 got it, is it worth the moola,

DSL is great, but if you can get Cable then do that. I hear Cable telephones are down to around £20 per month plus unmetered net access thrown in.

Download speeds for Cable and DSL are about the same (a 20 meg file downloaded in about 7 minutes), but Cable seems to ping lower than DSL for some reason: clan mate MrP pings at about 35ms on cable, but fellow clan mate Tanis pings at about 50ms on DSL; go figure.

Also Cable is a great reason to fuck over BT, which we would all love to do.

Also when you quote someone Ignus, try typing AFTER the bit that says QUOTE in block capitals with a / in front of it, then it will read better.
