My area is finally getting adsl broadband activated by the 1st of October. I'm on ISDN atm and the isp i use makes a huge difference, i guess the same is true of adsl?
Nildram seems to be quick (at least according to some comparison site i found) but not the cheapest. Pipex seemed to be cheap and reasonably quick, leaning towards them atm.
I've also seen packages offering 256, 512, 1 and 2 gb connections. I don't really download large files that often, I'm edging towards either a 256 or 512 connection. Whichever one i go for it doesn't effect ping does it?
anyway, basically i was just curious if there's an isp out there thats head and shoulders above the rest or one that should be avoided at all cost (i'm guessing BT ).
Any tips would be appreciated
thanks
