Well....so yesterday I wanted to humiliate my old system. I installed Premier on my Win 2003 machine but suddenly I got a bluescreen when creating a new video. Didn't think much about it and after reboot it worked well. Old computer 17minutes, new comp 4 mins for the video....just at 3mins to go my comp got bluescreen again and from then on all was over =)

I got it to boot again and get into windows, but bluescreens all the way. I booted again after choosing the "last working setup" and booting twice after that ( didn't work before :p ) and backuped over my notebook.....BUT.

Has anyone an idea why? From the errors I got I guess that Premier killed some parts of the RAID drivers.

It's not really bad cause I had the machine just set up for some testing till I got my x64 drivers ( few days ago finally =) ), but well....I'd rather like if someone had an idea about what it could be, cause reinstalling the system every 2 days gives some kind of routine, but takes some time tbh =) ( at least 1h30 of my precious life or so!! )

I have had this problem before, windows crashed and fucked my drive..only logical conclusion I came to was that the windows crash corrupted the boot sector of the drive. I had to fix it by zero-filling the drive with utilitys downloaded from the manufacturers website (Seagate in my case).

Constant windows crashes (or even just one) can corrupt critical files not replaced or backed up in your backup. :p
