Was just running this through my head, there are a lot of interesting places in NF that doesn't see fights and they really should. Don't know if anyones tried mentioning this before, but how about adding a few bonuses/negative effects(cross realm and aoe) to areas to promote roaming and use of zones/mini areas that are rarely used at the moment. The effects would ofc be minimal, but maybe just enough to make players want to roam around a bit to find their fights rather then sticking to the nearest bridge.
Bonus Effects such as: +Casting Damage, +Casting Speed +Melee Damage, +Melee Speed +HP, +Healing, +Speed, +RP etc.
Negative effects such as: Perma Disease!, -Casting Speed, -5% All stats, -RP etc.
The areas these effects would be in are the Mini Zones such as the ones you see in NF: "You have just entered Embla's Way" Is an example. With that you would have another message saying "The current active effect is -Casting Speed."
The duration of the bonuses would change randomly every 30mins or so? Dunno if thats too short really.
The amount of effect they have maybe can refer to how populated the main zone is.
Would also add a little tactic to the direction a fight can take, such as the enemy group pushing in to you so as to get out of a -Effect.
Anyone else got views on this? Good idea? Guess I've over complicated it though.
