if you freeze your next payment then start it up say 4-5 months later do you still keep your characters or are they deleted? can you have a temporary break from the DaoC addiction?

Officially your character is kept in the database for 90 days after the account is closed.

Practically, it is very likely they will keep it at least 6 months or more, but their promise is 90 days.
