Did you read the posts? I dont think there was an acusation in either of them and neither does anyone else. Unless of coarse me asking for proof to back up his tales is accusing someone of something. Your right Starman, I am accusing him of not providing proof of his wild tales.

Why not delete the post that started all this bull, or at least in your rights as a moderator, do your job and make a post requesting a demo of this cheat, and that if no demo can be produced to stop insighting flame wars by making stupid comments.

But by doing that you wouldnt be able to twiddle your fingers and pick your nose all day would you?

Quite how something like this is possible on pure servers I dont know. I guess thats what were all trying to find out

It isn't possible v.....on non pure servers then yes, but on pure.....i think it is impossible, unless the cheat is a script - or the cheat is server side.

Having read through at least 40 pages of slaggings and expleatives I can now understand why the world is constantly at war. This whole thing quite obviously has been blown out of all proportion.

As far as I can see crash originally set up a group of individuals who were interested in finding out whether cheats occured in EF - I am one of the people who joined his "association". My reasoning behind this was:
1] I am relitively new to ef (I am learning how to play the game and lets face it ef needs all the players it can get so why make them feel unwelcome and reluctant to go and play a game - which sux as it is all about fun isnt it?)
2] I wanted to keep upto date on developments within the game

all I have seen recently are a whole load of testosteroned filled males at each others throats over a game which I was told was a laugh.

What is the matter with everyone have you all forgotton why you went out and bought the game??? Do you know what the word fun means anymore or is it all about verbally assaulting the person you are playing with albeit a "n00b" or a "geriatric".

My personal feelings on the subject are that the mud slinging stops before the game is destroyed totally.

As for crashes group I am considering leaving it myself as he has decided that information will only be shared with a select few - this is again not part of the original ethos of the group and therefore only worth while joining if crash knows you personally. So I find myself wondering why people are arguing about something that obviously none of us will never know about due to crash keeping all information to himself and his friends??

As I am on my soap box I will vent some more

I have been playing ef (mainly in2ta and specs) frequently since August and in that time I have not really seen anything in my mind which constitutes a cheat - maybe its because when I am playing I dont notice I just think that there are people who are better and accept that. God knows there are some incredible in2ta players out there ( I cant speak for ctf missionary as I dont play it). However just because they play incredibly well it does not give them the right to insult players who have not been playing as long - or does it??

Whats the point of my "rant" I hear you cry? The point is why cant people play together and have fun without the accusations - after all what good does it do?

I think the problem here and the reason it got so out of control is that Crash said he HAD a aimbot.

He had it used it and deleted it, on a pure server.....

The discovery of this is very important to me since i run the EFL. If a cheat exists and ppl are using it I want to know.

Now the truth of the matter is that no one has EVER shown proof that they exist, and more often than not it is just a better player kicking someone elses derrier.

I think maybe Crash should have said that the EFPA is here to discover if a cheat for EF exisits (on pure servers). Not that they had one and deleted it.

So no matter what Crash says now everyone wants to see that aimbot he HAD and deleted.

Maybe this will help share some light for those of you that havent read all of the posts.

Like I said I like the idea of a group of ppl searching the net discovering and then exposing the fact that cheats exist. But then again at the same time they should also show a way of protecting servers against them.

What's a geriatric (in ef that is) a good player? If so I just knew there were too many old people out there lol
Arguments come and go in the little ef-world, though mainly on the forums ( mainly caus on a server you have a gun to make sure they get your point lol).
Instagib and disint somehow do seem more fun with less name calling (dont know about spec)
I could go all corny about a group hug but naaaaahhhhh
