Account gone?

Got my WoW copy in the mailbox yesterday and managed to create my account 02:00ish, but after having patched the game I could't log in.
Obviously my account got lost in the process somewhere and blizz page won't recognize account name nor email..
Can't even make a new account as the CD-key is now in use by an account that doesn't exist. Talk about frustration >_<

Anyone had/have the same problem?
Any info would be much apreciated, as blizz e-mail support isn't the most entertaining pen-pal I've had ..

Some others got similar problems with key not working anymore after a crapped up sign up. Could be that it never came to the point internally to activate it... Doubt it's lost, just not fully activated.
