... and not going to renew it this time. It's been fun, 'good game good game' as one minor British celebrity might say. Not much more to do or see in this game now, guess it just doesn't do anything for me after 12 months.

Glad to have met so many nice people, and, err, so many colourful people (<cough> Lamont <cough>).

Not much more to add really, but be good all.

Oh and if you want to meet me in game come to Shadowbane on the US servers...

Shush Lance, from 99% of his posts one can only assume Pudz is under the age of consent. Besides with all those characters to level its unlikely he's seen the daylight for sometime now

Anyway Pudz - you don't know anything about me, you've never grouped with me, never talked with me. Most of Albion's players know that I'd go out of my way to help any of them ... even ones that I might not agree with their playstyle or their own general conduct. Hell I've even given loot items to a much maligned Albion guild in the past...

In some ways online games are great because you get to meet people from all walks of life that normally you would not get to meet. But of course you're not always going to get on with everyone -- c'est le vie.

Had lots of fun in this game, particularly with the old Templar crew - Lin, Nim, Mirieth, Roalith, Sru - then latterly with Guardians of Power. But all good things come to an end.

DAOC is an enjoyable game -- but the complete lack of an end game other than 'counterstrike with swords' is frustrating. Not to mention I find PvE dull, and endless cash/drop hunts aren't really my bag either.

Not sure if Shadowbane will be any different to that in the long run -- but I'm going to find out
