hmm...weird, can't find the Accessibility options in Windows Xp. :D

If I remembered correctly, it should be in Control Panel but it isn't there. Anyone else who has Windows Xp Professional Build 2600 and hasn't got Accessibility Options in Control Panel?

:(

Well, I was going to configure those damn Sticky Keys. When I press shift five times, the Sticky Key window pops up. But when I click on settings, nothing happens.

Hi

I found out it has something to do with rundll32.exe. When you run Accessibility options you should get a 'rundll32.exe' in your task manager opened. In my case, it doesn't open. I've tried to type rundll32.exe in run command line but it didn't work either.

Seems to me that rundll32.exe handles all 32-bit DLLs files in WinNT, 2k and XP.

Hi vofflujarnid

Have you tried downloading Tweak UI (SP1 must be installed)? Once installed and launched, you'll find a 'Control Panel' option on the left-hand side. Click once to select it, and you'll find a list on the right of all the control panel items. Make sure "access.cpl - Accessibility Options" has a tick next to it, then check the control panel again.

If that doesn't work, you may want to try repairing your current Windows installation using the Windows XP CD (be sure to make a backup and/or restore point first, though).

Kind Regards

Hi, jonty, and thanks for your reply :)

I've tried the utility TweakUI but unfortunately it didn't work.

Then I tried the Windows Repair Utility on the Windows Xp CD but I couldn't really find out how it works. I thought it would be automatic but it was manual repair, didn't figure out how to fix rundll32 there.

I also tried: 'SFC /scannow' in run but that didn't work either. It's Windows File Protection and it makes sure that all protected Windows files are intact and in their original versions.

Was worth a try though.
