AC2 bites the dust

Hardly suprising news considering the game was laughable but when you consider the money spent developing the game the subscription numbers have been horrendus since day one. Anyway, here is the press release. Amazes me how they managed to mess up such a popular franchise but that's the world of MMORPG's for ya.

Ive never played it but i did consider trying it at one point since it looked very nice and they apparently do (did) alot of live events and add alot of free content etc every month.

I feel for the poor people having invested alot if time in it :/ Must be heartbreaking - i would definetly not be happy if it was decided that daoc was closing down in 4 months.
