I had Hills Absinthe with the sugar and spoon, and i cant really remember much after that........ was mighty strong

that was years ago.....

Hah I got a bottle of 'absinthe' from Asda a few weeks ago for a party for £20, some 55% crap. Drank almost the entire bottle, got fucked and woke up the next morning like a vampire, like, paler than that Edward Cullen muthafucka'.

you should all go out and buy the 89.9% green stuff, preferbly from a eastern european country with at leat! 100ppm's of thjoune
thats been added after initial distilation to enhance the amount of thjoune in the spirit, not the weak max 35ppm EU law crap!
anything under 75% abv is for pussies and such.

then go get a sugar lumb, put it on a spoon and..light it on fire! yeah!
now add water, and shoot it down like a mujarfucker!

By all means possible avoid any and all western european absinthe or versinthe!
f.exp french, swiss, spanish, ect
hell some of it has the nerve of only beening like 55%!!!! the nerve!?

Yes you are right, just I don't like aniseed and it isn't the aniseed that fucks you up anyway it is the alcohol strength and possible the chemicals from the wormwood. The aniseed is purely for flavour, I want cinnamon and nutmeg absinthe for fucks sake!

Never EVER! do your absinthe shopping at a professional liquore store.
All those guys ever do is pump up prices and stand around looking smug, posh
and pumous arsed. noo, it's far more wise to go to your nearest supermarket/gros store
and do a good bargin. and andrew the teenage achnee freak clean up at ile 3 will be all the advice you'll ever really need
