Absinthe, anyone?

Searching for a good tasting bottle of Absinthe to purchase. Any recommendations?

No such thing, it all tastes 100% like paint stripper. Have a really nice bottle of the stuff (apparantly) that came from a Russian friend during a business deal. Came with the spoon type thing in meant to hold the sugar cube whilst pouring commences and that.. did all the proper bizzle, still couldnt drink the stuff!

Best stuf you can get is from Barcelona really, would have to take a trip down bottle lane to remember brands, but essentially it's worth it to go over 70%-75% with any brand really.

Especially with an absinthe spoon, sugar cube on top, little absinthe in glass, ice cold water through the sugar cube. Yummy.

Though if you're in the UK, you're pretty much sh*t out of luck on any good absinthe

You can buy Absinthe in the uk from local drink stores, I get mine every year from the same place, costs me between £50-70, is 80% proof and is mighty fine.

Saying that it is a speciality store, which only sells imports, but it's local!!!

F*ck, and i were passing Prague a few days ago. Have heard of different kinds and some illegal/proper/w/e ones making you trip. Don't really care for that, just want it to taste good (which ofc is a matter of taste ><)
