So come on guys :) Tell us the reasons why you play DAoC.

The reasons why i play DAoC has to be 1) People ingame 2) Great to Compete with the good players ingame, makes me want play the best i can from the class i play. Im not saying im the best player and doubt i will ever be. All i want to do is give the best fight i can.

But the main reason has to be number 1) I play because of the people ingame :)

Is alot more i can say but for now i leave you with the above :)

So tell us about why you play DAoC :)

Because I like PCgames, and DAoC happen to the best MMO out there atm. Its nice to work a day, come home, fix food, play with the kids and finally just sit infront of the PC a while and relax all by myself and spend time with people I like in a guildgroup :) Or just toy around with my NS and try to kill stuff!

I've played RPGs since 11 yrs old and CRPGs since a few years after that. About 5 yrs ago, single player CRPGs started seeming generic beyond my ability to tolerate. I found that MMORPGs, because of the human element were the only place I could work up any interest.

Nah but seriously, i enjoy pvp types of games and playing with friends.
Havent seen or doubt there will be any game in a long time that will beat the pvp/rvr system that's in daoc atm. :)

Hmmm i play DAOC due to it's the only game i play and i really enjoy the challenge of RVR mostly.

For me also im always trying to challenge my self, or try beat a personal record for killing a high con mob and seeing how much hp i have left etc.

That goes for RVR to, killing a tower lord for example.

To camp as many towers as possible, add on everything in sight, zerg, whine and generally make peoples lives miserable and all the QQ I can get :m00:

Or, just perhaps, it's due to the friends in game, the atmosphere, the dream of FG RvR (I don't PvE at all anymore) and being addicted :D

I got alot of spare time and I like to play computergames, I like mmorpgs because you get more involved and it feels more like you are getting anywhere or achieving something than just a random shoot em up game, also playing togheter with many other peoples are great fun. I especially like the pvp DAoC is build up around, and it's a motivating reason for me to keep playing , I like the competition, excitement and fun the PvP action gives. A nice waste of time it is :> Used to play WarCraft III and Battlefield 1942 but now it's just 100% DAoC :)
