the admins started out because we thought it would be fun, yet, all we got was crying little babies that wanked about evry fucking little thing that we forgot to do or didnt have time for because there were other little babies wanking around, and our argument in not being paid is that we do it voluntary, u cant foce the admins to do fuck all, especially when all u do is wank.
i sincerely hope u people ever get to be admins for a leauge and get the same kind of shit all the time, then stop to think how bad we were.

No one has aimed any abuse at you, and most of the time the comments have been valid, so your a fucking admin? well you wouldnt have fuck all to do if it wasnt for the people playing wolf in the league so stop sitting there like some pathetic twat and mouthing off and insulting people, its tossers like you who have been pissing people off...
how come other admins can cope with discussion and talk normally, and all the work they do is very appreciated, but twats like yourself dont help, u just make things worse. If you got a problem with being an admin then fuck off and dont do it

Part of being an admin is taking a diplomatic approach to situations. Of course people are going to complain to you.. thats your f**king job for christs sake!!! You are a representative of the league and are as such expected to deal with problems in a professional manner.
I won't tar all the admins with the same brush, because some of them do a good job. However there are a handful who are jumped up, power tripping tossers who have been outright agressive given absolutely no provocation.
People are putting forward valid comments and all that we are met with is hostility.
This all seems mute now anyways given that it looks like there will no longer be a wolf community at BW to speak of which is a shame given that there is still more than enough demand. To be honest tho, the attitude of those in charge stinks. From the moment BigBB handed over his admin duties this whole organisation went to hell. From that day forth we were all treated like morons by the powers that be.

as i pointed out u knew it would be voluntary so how can u moan about not getting paid? u even second this in ur above comment.
We turned up to every game we had but we did use the PP token and then we played that pp match aswell. I am moaning, or wanking as u so eloquently put it, now cuz uve done sod all for weeks i only hope most of ur outburst was directed at other clans although u did quote my post.
does u swearing make u cleverer than me or something? please be calmer when u write ur posts, little man, they might make more sense.

Calm chaps.
We're looking at the prospect of continuing the league into a second season. Chip is still keen to carry through his ideas and take the league forward and there has been an offer from a league admin to take a more prominant role in any future seasons.
Jakal is a family and working man and has found this season quite a struggle to keep going with those committments. He's taking a well earned break and getting back to his offline life a bit.
We'll keep you abreast of developments and as to some decision on the future of the league, of which will be in the next couple of days no doubt.
The site is due for a clean-up with a final announcement of the previous season's close. As soon as that's drawn to a firm end, things can move on.
Note: Junky left as a league admin early in season one. Just to say, as it seems he has been thought to be a current admin.

can totally sympathise with jakals situ I work 4 on 4 off continentals so i get tied up with work meself and apologise if any of my comments have pissed him off

How you can possibly expect anyone to take this league seriously unless you post the results of Season #1?
Season #1 was concluded (all games played & adminned).
Therefore these admins have the missing scores of the last few weeks or have at least sent them to one location for posting on the site?
If the current admin setup want the BW Leagues to be seen as anything more than an amateur attempt by kids, then they should at least attempt to collate the necessary information and post final results for each division of Season #1
I'm sure most Clan leaders will be happy to make available all their results for the season and it's then just a matter of taking the time to work out a finalised table for each division.
I'm surprised the admin haven't even asked for any missing details required to bring closure to Season#1.
If it feels like too much work, then ask yourselves honestly if you have the long term commitment and maturity to undertake running another league?
It's obvious from the posts here that the majority of Clans want to see Season #1 wrapped up.
Then Season #2 can begin with the newly formed divisions made of hard earned promotions and soul destroying demotions but all part of the way leagues work.
Now, you even want to allow new Clans that weren't in the first Season to leap over Clans that have trained and battled hard for months to earn the respect of their fellow gamers?
Having won Div#2 to earn a place in Div#1, none of my Clanmates are happy with this situation nor have they any desire to play in any future leagues run by BW unless this is sorted out once and for all.

When myself and Jakal went inactive Bigfoot posted saying that the league would be cancelled (YES CANCELLED) if none showed any interest in running it. Did anyone put there hand up and say yer bif to save the league from closing I'll run it. Did they hell.
So to save the league from closure I've taken over again and with the help of Blacklotus we intend on keeping this league going and making it a good season (with our ideas right from the word go)
I know enough of how well the teams did last season to place them in the right divisions. it all depends on the quality of teams that signs up for season 2.

Whoah.. steady there Chip old chap. No need to go off on one
There has been for sometime some bad blood between those who run the leagues and those who play in it. This prehaps stems from the fact that *some* of the admins started treating some people like shite because they were stressed and overworked.. and in return some negative comments have been thrown at the organization of the league as a whole.
You have to understand tho that quite a lot of the players who worked their arses off last season to do well will be a bit peeved that their results were lost and that the end of the season trailed off into nothingness.
I realise that running the league such as the state it was in last season with drop outs galore and server problems will have been a bit of a nightmare, but most of the clan leaders are not plebs and if you kept us all up to date on what the problems were perhaps there would be more understanding of delays, hicups etc.
If you need somebody to post regular updates to the news page I'll be happy to step forward and help out for the good of the cause.
Also, as I've suggested before, is it possible to setup a mailing list for all of the clan leaders. I realise that they *should* check the news page every week, but at least if there are important pieces of information (delayed matches, server problems etc.) you know that it's going to arrive in their mail box and resolve any further confusion amongst competitors about such problems. Saves everybody's time! Again, if you need somebody to compile such information... I'm more than happy to help out.
It's time we buried all this animosity as it just ain't productive. Instead lets get our heads together and figure out how things can run smoother between us!

For a league of 6 Divisions to run successfully, all the Clan info should be stored on a single database.
The webpages of league tables should be generated "on the fly" (not stagnant html pages) by drawing the latest information from the database and displaying it.
Admins should have password-protected access to scoreboard forms where they enter the scores of a match they've just adminned and click "submit".
Instantly, all league tables and clan info pages will appear adjusted accordingly.
I know BW use php scripts to generate the league tables but I've no idea how admins submit scores.
I've already offered to write a generic script that could handle displaying multiple divisions and fixture lists. These would be created from a database and accept user friendly input (scores) from admins. The rest would take care of itself.
I was under the assumption that such a system is already in use since pages are php generated so it's beyond me how keeping it up to date became such a task in Season#1

There has been an admin system, relational to a few of the php pages for a little while. But, it was never completed by the scripting chaps. A complete db driven admin system is now in its latter stages of development and it's hoped it'll be going for the next season. Unfortunately, because the leagues have been a non-profit sector to BW, it's been overlooked. At least, that's where I think it's come from.

But, it's only for webby page management, you still have to plug in the stuff, it doesn't put the results in etc. It's used for all the nation, league etc. sites. It can take at least an hour to plug in the results of each night, it's ridiculous, but the way things are, i'm afraid.
Hopefully, we'll see a decently smooth system running through the next season and cup.

I second bigbb there. the last i want to be doing after 3 hours of head adminning all the games (choosing admins for each game, updating results, sortng out quieries etc) is to spend an hour updating results and 3 hours trying to figure out league tables but its the way it is

my team were in div2a last season and we should normally go in div 1 for this new season.
I was in holidays for 10 days and i came back this morning and what a surprise !!!!!!!!!!!.
we are outside of barrysworld league !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So i would like to have an explanation about it !!!!
there is many very small team and also some very good teams in new league, but i have readen no announce anywhere that someone was changing all format.
many thanks barrysworld to put out a team that won should be promoted in div1 this season and have never postponed a match during last season.

check the seasoned cup threas Vortex for your answer. be assured that when season 2 signups open .. season 1 teams will recieve priority over new teams. the Cup is a seperate thing entirly based on first come first served.
