The reaver special RA is a 'pbae lifedrain shout'....

Does anyone know how much damage it deals? and how much % drainage it has?

hmmm thanks for the pics... damage looks kinda crappy for pbae, on the other hand it would be a nice IP vs those pbae groups and tank assist groups...

oh well i still have time to think about it :p

remember, this is a reavers pbaoe. not a casters....

and its a lifedrain.. lifedrais have less dmg than DD. and its a tank that cast it. when u think aboute that, its kinda uber ;)

It's also insta and insta's tend to do less - think cleric/thane pbae insta rather than wizard pbae and it comes out quite nicely.

Once every 30 mins. You may get full hp back, but you may get nothing for 10 RA points.

And those pics are of the best times Ive used it. Its really not worth it.

bloody shame most of the special RA's are pure crap, the RA system still seems to be in its alpha phase Oo

Not used it myself, been told it's pap from several sources so never bought it. Although recenlty ive been thinking of buying it.

No flurry is an innate ability. The RA is Void:
Combat Style: Opening: None Weapon type: Any Fatigue cost: None Damage: Very high Attack Bonus: Very high Defense bonus: Medium
Does about 10 damage more than am slash apparently and is on a 10 minute timer. Uber for 10 RSPs. :p

I bought UToS with my first 10 points. Respecced out of it when I could get purge+IP, got it again at 5L3 and still have it ticking on to R7.


Basically, I love the RA, but it is a bit shit in certain circumstances. I spend most of my time as a duo (with another Reaver, or a Pally) in Odin's, killing stealthers and small groups. Even if it only hits 2-3 people doing 400-600 damage and healing for 300-500 hits, it's worth 10 points.

It's also great for when you just have to take the last 20% health off a target, but a heal will land before you swing again, or if you get caught by a couple of chanters (particularly nice if their pets are also by you).


The only times I'd say it sucks is if you're against hib groups with 60%+ spirit resists, or unlucky and meet BAoD.


(Oh, and be careful not to ruin your Sorcerer's day ;))
