90% of the time if he didn't close them one of the other mods would have, it's just he saw it first. I'm not saying he's right all the time. But all things considered he does a pretty good job of maintaining some kind of order. There are plenty of forums which enforce a 'nazi-moderation' policy, by which standards Freddshouse is actually pretty lax.

why is this on this board (as there hasnt been a locked thread here for a month or more (cba to check more pages)?
Why is this in a thread (and not a pm to some mod)?
And if flim was trigger happy, there should be way more threads closed I would guess. It probably is that the other mods are abit inactive.
btw the threads he locked were just threads that were posts of something that has already been discussed to death a couple of dozen times on these boards and some of them he actually left open and closed for just not going anywhere after a few pages.

You're lucky to have Flim and the other DAOC mods take care of stuff so much to be honest... if it was me I'd have banned loads more peeps round here. Popa, you get away with it this time but any more mod-baiting and you'll be taking a holiday
