About 1.61

My shamy baseline buffs gives +50 and the spec buffs gives +70 I think. But with the new overcap system I will be able to get base +85 and spec +110(I am rr 7).

But how will that happen? Even if I get Mastery of Arcane 5 I will only get +81 in baseline buffs(50 x 1,4 thanks to high spec in Aug, x 1,15 thanks to Mastery of Arcane 5).

And items can now give me +110 instead of +75 if I understand it correctly. So how much more hit points will I get if I raise my con from 290 to say 325?

And strength? how much more in damage will I give if I raise strength from 300 to say 350?

So what will be most interesting? High stats(over 300) or + in skills(over 50), or perhaps + in resists(other than slash, thrust and body).

Probably hard to find answers from my question, but a wild stab in the dark wont hurt

Lucky me I havent fixed my mp-armor yet.

rr6-7 about 200hp more than usual, so a SB can get around 2300ish

Also, for some strange reason...

42 aug (36 str/con, 37 dex/qui) gives MORE +str/con/dex/qui than 47 Aug in 1.61 :l

both tested wih moa2.

RR-based stat cap raises did not get into the patch. Item stat caps did not change. The only thing that went in was a raise to the buff caps and a raise/removal of the 300 stat soft-cap.

OVERCAPPING UPDATE

Based on testing feedback, we've decided to change the way our new overcapping system (introduced in 1.61a) works. Unfortunately, changing it to this new system will take some time, so we're going to completely revert back to the original system - i.e. taking out the realm level aspect of it - for at least this Pendragon version. Stay tuned for more details.

However, we are keeping part of the capping changes: We've raised the player stat caps so that high level buff spells will not exceed the cap. Players who receive high level buff spells from friendly casters will notice this change the most. This means that races that a high starting stat (such as strength or dexterity) will now be able to buff it a bit more than those races that do not have a high starting stat.

the overcapping system is only buffs and not items nor anything else... so no to all u SC whore's ur sc gear aint ruined, yet ;)
