I've been doing one of those dreaded complete reinstalls in order to get rid of all the crap and update all the drivers etc.
Amongst my fresh d/l's was the latest build of ICQ. Now, included in this latest build is a feature called 'ActiveList'. Basically its like a 'club' or BBS built into icq.
People join using a unique icq activelist number. They can then see who else is online within the list, they have access to news etc and admins have broadcast messages to all members. Possibly a very useful function for allowing league admin or clan leaders to broadcast the latest.
Has anyone played with this yet?
If yes, any ideas or comments?
I'm having a play with it atm but think it could be a valuble asset to the hard-core gaming community if set up properly and by the right people.
