A sorc specc dilemma...

i 'm a 34 mind - 41 body- rest matter specced sorc who can/wants to specc to full mind

but i'm not sure

if you're gonne be full mind can i still do ( some) dmg

i'm breaking my cute head on this already 2 months

pls Help me with constructive comments

he went lots mind and didn't like it, best suggetsion is too speak to some1 who has done it.

I am 46 mind, 28 body and like it.

clerics love me for PoT5 and the lvl 44 mezz are nice. Also the str/con debuff lowers a tanks hits with about 150.

Your lifedrain still do pretty nice dmg. I hit for 290~ on a lvl 50 without any body resist.

So normal hits are like 150-200.

46mind->pot 5, not worth it , get serenity 1.
45mind->55% mez reduction, not worth it.

26+AoM3+16%(decent cleric) + 40%(at 39 spec) = 91% mez reduction. enough.

44mind/31body best spec.

im currently 44 mind 31 body and i nuke for ~250 (about 320-340 on a target with no resists) every ~1.6sec with my lifedrain which is pretty good if you also have a nuking pet to assist you(bananach)...

after thinking about it a lot ill be going for 44 mind / 31 body as well, the only truly viable (ie powerful) specs imo are:

44 mind / 31 body - top ae mezz, top ae str/con debuff, 2nd pot, 2nd self-antimezz, 2nd group-antimezz, lowest ae root, lowest heat, cold and matter debuffs, 3rd ae dex/qui debuff, ~200 lifetaps

36 mind / 40 matter - 2nd ae mezz, 2nd ae str/con debuff, 2nd pot, 2nd self-antimezz, lowest group-antimezz, 3rd snare nuke (~250 after resists, with snare), stacking ~100 tick dots, 2nd ae dex/qui debuff

36 mind / 40 body - 2nd ae mezz, 2nd ae str/con debuff, 2nd pot, 2nd self-antimezz, lowest group-antimezz, 2nd ae root, 2nd heat, cold and matter debuffs, 2nd ae dex/qui debuff, ~250-300 lifetaps

I'd also like to point out that because I'm switching to body/mind instead of matter/mind, I have a 99% practically unused quarterstaff for sale which I no longer need (crafted by sixpack, veryniceman etc). Can supply the 99% SC template that it fits into if you like, or it's a nice staff on its' own. Currently has no tincture. Stats are as follows:

Focus - 50 Mind Focus
Focus - 50 Matter Focus
Stat - 10 Strength
Resist - 15 Crush Resist
