Sheep?
Has anyone know anything worthwhile about the new game "Sheep".

It's supposed to be odd.
There are also sheep in the DMA game "tanktics", and then there's exploding sheep in "Worms".

Must be loads others.
There are cows in earthworm Jim 2

i have only seen one cow in earthworm jim.. the one that you launch with the frige.. crapped meself laffin when i first saw that.

and i think theres a cow model for q2....

yeah.. hexen 2 has sheep, i had fun hacking them to bits. it also has spiders.
i think theres some sheep in wales too...
super sheep in worms 2

Warcraft II had sheep on the forest levels, except they were called critters, and they blew up if you clicked on them too much, it also had seals and boars.

err, you sure about that cow in Unreal???

The catch the chicken mod surprisingly enough contains a chicken.

err, wasnt one of the BW columnists trying to program a dog bot for tribes?

Age of Empires had antelope, elephants and lions didnt it? and whales.

err, and Shadow Warrior had bunnies, it even had a Python-esque killer bunny.

there were bunnies in settlers 2 aswell (probably also in the first one aswell, but I never played that)

And finally to dip into the deepest depths of obscurity, who remembers those bats represented by a capital "B" in that most amazing of computer games, ROGUE, the ASCII RPG.

OOh, theres a nice idea for a thread, what was the first PC game you played?

Mine would be one of those naff educational thingumies called SSA, cant actually remeber what it stood for but you had to go through these mines picking up little purple and yellow diamonds whilst chasing a weird bloke with funny hair.

Strangely enough the first 'PC' (personal computer) game I played was Space Invaers - and I had to write a version so I could play it - crammed it into less than 2k of memory as well

- this was in the days when the IBM XT still ran CPM though....
For curiosity's sake: It was a Challenger 4P - from the Challenger Corporation in America, and this all happened in 1978 (shit, am I *that* old?)
And yes, I remember Rogue, and I also remember playing 'Adventure' on a Cyber mainframe - green text on a green monitor somewhere well away from the computer itself... and being blown away by playing PacMan on a WANG minicomputer... (you had to be there - the Apple I was king in those days

I still got my Speccy 48k (with ORIGINAL mushy keys) in the loft, lovingly packed in its original box, with 2 microdrives, thermal printer, and a mouse/centronics adaptor. Best game ever was "Skool Daze".

There were a lot of cows in Diablo, which gave rise to the "cow level", and also Baldurs Gate had cows you could slice up, as well as squirrels, rats and cats. Aren't there cows in the South Park game ?

I still got Rogue (or "Hack" as it was on the PC) somewhere ...

Err, I think it was still called Rogue on the PC, maybe you're thinking of a different game, or version of it, the one I'm thinking of had such remarkable quotes as:

"yum, that slime mould tasted good"
"the rattlesnake bites you, you begin to feel weak"
"the scroll YTF GY RSGT is an identify scroll, what item do you wish to identify"
"Mincer was kiiled by a Yeti; level 23; 2300 gold; Grand Adventurer"

and the greatest of all:

"you feel a tingling sensation in your feet, what do you wish to call this?"
> Dog Crap
"you feel Dog crap in your feet"

Anyhow, back to the animals:

Blade Runner (the game) had lots of fake animals, plus little paperorigami ones at the end (btw, was I the only person to wonder what the hell they filled those 4 CD's with, the entire game took about 10 hours to complete)
