while we'r on the subject a lot of ppl are quite obviously using aliases and cominig into games mouthing and generally giving players like myselfe who's abilities are not a match for there's a hard time.
I dont mind geting creamed at all but to have to sufer insults and taunts is a little boreing..

I've just been playing on BW and had the misfortune to meet an aliased player feeling really tough in his anonymity.
Informing us that 'uk sucks', he then went on to start insulting me personally, having a go at my ability at past and present games.
His comments seemed to be as spiteful as he could think of, and were unprovoked.
I have my suspicions as to who this was.
If you are reading this Shampoo U have given me a saddening reminder that there are some twisted, screwed up people out there who take joy in trying to cause misery for others, you and those like you are the scourge of our planet.

I'm almost 100% sure who it was, he reads this board, and knew just who I was in quake.
I find it more saddening than annoying, but insults from those beneath contempt don't have much bite.

Best advice I can give is just to tell the person you are muting them and they normally shut up pretty quickly.

I've had that sort of crap happen to me...
I've been playing quake3 a bit lately and its more annoying because I don't even think you can mute people.
I guess thats something you can be thankful about where Tribes is concerned.
