A question that could help not kill this board

I jsut spotted an image in one of the other topics (can't remember which - it's of a train or something)
Does this mean that we are now allowed to use sigs, or was this just one that slipped thorough?

I just want to check before the board dies of a RAM overdose like the last one did.....

you can only put images in the message body, they're disabled in the signature.

Please forgive ny ignorance, but why would adding image tags increase the RAM usage of this messageboard?
