Their new one(Bird Of Prey) is good as well though Willeh, its back to Throwing Copper type tunes.

Throwing Copper is my favourite album of all time, and though it sold gazillions in the states, I've rarely come across anyone over here that's heard of them.

The Dam at Otter Creek and White, Discussion are pure genius!

I saw them live at the Kentish Town Forum on the Secret Samadhi tour, and it was amazing. I still have a scarred hand from where I caught Chad Gracey's drumstick, and was set upon by four aussie lads who wanted it badly enough todig their nails into my hand and rip chunks of flesh off

Think I'll stick the album on now, quite a bit since I listened to it. Used to listen to it a lot while at uni, long train trips, sat with that playing on my CD player - bliss.

IMO - Secret Samadhi was not far off - Lakini's Juice is still possibly the heaviest and most twistedly melodic song I've ever heard, but they've never been as good since. I don't like all this navel gazing spiritual stuff and dodgy lyrics he's been doing recently.

Still one of the most powerful voices around though.
