A question about the Fylgja quest

So here it is....
I go to fetch the wood in myrkwood, get to spindel enterance, and just cant find anything, checked all trees in the area, nothing... mby there's some special way to make the wood spawn or smthn ? cn anyone experienced this before ?

circle around the tree next to the bloke in the orange suit and you'll see a message, keep running until you see it has dropped, then its running about and spamming f7
