On a slash infil does Dex makes any diffrence at all?
or is it "spare points" ?

imo str makes up the dmg output per hit

however dex contributes to melee speed along with quickness which effects your evade rate and speed per hit
hence with haste you evade more and hit more

imo i wouldn't drop your dex there is a noticeable difference in your hit speed
is there any point overcapping str just to loose dex and hit less? i doubt it

These are just my theories which i have picked up since playing my slash/inf
reckon i must have clocked up a few hours since swapping to slash

Actually, dexterity does not increase your swingspeed, for slash-infiltrators it only affects their evasion rate. For thrust-infiltrators it is half their weaponskill-stat ( strength being the other half ) and of course half their evasion stat (quickness being the other stat used for evasion calculations)
