a possable BD spec

My boney atm is supp/dark (48/26)

but i was thinking of this spec:

50 Dark

rest in supp.

i'm thinking of this for 2 reasons:

1. I get a nice nuke

2. i have a 50% body debuff that will boost my insta.

any thoughts on this spec?

after reading TL reports and other posts about darkness specc for bds i wouldn't pick that line my self.. haven't met one guy on EU with over 30+ darkness yet so kinda hard to find out how good it is...

I'm pretty sure that the biggest disadvantage with a dark spec is the pets in that line. From what I've read here and there the casters don't nuke until the commander reaches it's target, which kind of nullifies the idea of having nukers, at least in RvR. Also, kill the commander and the nukers are gone, and since you send in the commander it's pretty easy for the enemy to kill them all. The nuker pets are also usually low level because of the pet cap of 75, which would make it pretty easy for enemies to resist the nukes. Can't remember that I've heard much on the debuffer pets so can't say much there. They probably suffer from the same disadvantages as the nukers though.

Bonearmy spec suffers from similar problems regarding the archer, and the soldier pet can start fighting the commander now and then, pretty stupid bug.

I'm sad to say that with the pets in mind supp is really the most viable spec at the moment. Would be great if Mythic fixed the pet issues so that it would really be viable to try other specs.
