I just think the leveling will go somewhat slow

I'm newbie in hibernia too and playing Celtic Spear Hero. I'm very much in love with my char (iik!) but one things bugs me. Why i'm a missing so much ? in normal fight i miss about half the time. I'm level 9 and Celtic Spear is maxed (9) and rest is in parry. Is this just Celtic Spear Hero thing? If so i'm gonna do Celtic Shield Hero cos i can't stand watching my group mates getting ganged cos i miss so much.

It's just cos of your somewhat low dex mostly, get a champ to group with and have him dex/qui debuff the mobs, you should miss a lot less then

Well as you level, your dex rises, you get more +dex items, and buffs to dex get better. So once higher level you should miss less often yes.

Although obviously it will depend on the con of the mob - you will miss purple con mobs a lot more than blue con ones

How about miss factory comparing Shield Hero and Spear Hero ?

well a s/s hero hits far faster, so a miss is far less crippling than a miss with a celtic spear is, you'd miss as often, but wouldn't notice it as much prob

Spear heros rule

Hey... I had shield/blade hero till lvl 42 so I could die less and stuff. Now I got spear and kick ass (as ppl say) and Love it much more then shield/blade.

if I make new hero(I am sure I wont) I would go for 50 blade/shield rest in parry and see what its like in RvR and if its soo soo I would respec and go for spear/parry/42 in shield(for slam)



anyway msg me ingame if u want I will explain how it works.

due to having so little Dex u are going to miss alot
But as malev said with lvls it should get up and help u.
