A Message To Those Guilds Participating In The 5day Raid

I'm making this a seperate post for 2 reasons, 1 i want to increase my post count cause i'm a shallow and egotistical bastard , and 2 i doubt many people have been following the post after they signed up.

So its like this, theres been a slight mix up somwhere and we've ended up with the last 2 guild group spots on friday

As such i'm asking any guilds that are capable to switch one of their weekday dates (not Sunday) to Friday. As compensation for changing your plans i'm willing to award the members of the guild group that does make the change a +10 modifer on their first round lotto rolls (giving them the ability to /random 110 in the first round, thus giving them a slightly better chance on the item they really want most).

I would also like to take this oppertunity to remind everyone to please inform me as soon as possible if you cannot attend. Due to the nature of this raid it will be very difficult to put together another group ready to hunt in vacent dates if a guild pulls out 10mins before the start of the raid

In the event that no guild is capable of making the change by Saturday 26th the 2 guild group slots will be converted into random groups (6 misc. classes, 1 shaman, 1 healer). So if you didn't make it into the first 12 people to sign up theres still a chance you can still join.

One more bump after this and the group spots will be converted to random. This will lead to a few changes, the most significant being that the final hunt will switch to a 9fg hunt, not 8. this will add an extra 8 people to the numbers (making 72people) which is more than the estimated numbers. Thus lowering the chance of everyone getting an item (though there will still be a higher than average chance).


The offer of a +10 modifer for the first round still stands. and will untill i offically change the spots and the first person has signed up.

In regard to any questions you might still have about the lottery, all the smaller (sub-hunts you might call them) will have no lotterys. The hunt will end, on the final hunt (8... or 9) will be the hunt on which all the items will be lotto'd. This might seem unfair for some (i think the main question has been: what if we get an uber item, those guys did nothing to earn it why should they have the right to roll on it? Well ask yourself this, what if on your hunts you get nothing but crap? Well then wouldn't you prefer to roll on their stuff?)


Anyway, just over 48hours till the guild group spots on Friday the 1st of August become random group spots (in total 12 misc spots, 2 healer spots, 2 shaman spots). You might also want to consider that these people will have done half the work you did, but they will reap the full rewards (to this end however i am considering a small demodifer)

As you can tell i would prefer for a guild to switch one of its dates (NO, not Sunday!) to Friday. However, its a matter that is entirly out of my hands. Remember, if you and your guild are the ones that switch you will have a better chance at getting the item you really want the most!

GoV are considering changing our Thursday hunt to the Friday, but I don't want to say definitely until I've had the chance to speak with the whole group.

If you could wait until later this evening before opening it up to a random group, I would appreciate it.

Yeah, and i also here-by Award all of the Vigrid guild group a +10 modifer on their first round lottery rolls.
