This kind of character is only funny on a PvP server. You got to admire their nerve, and from a RP perspective, they add to the community.

But on a non-PvP server, their just aholes, with no fear of retribution. It's just not funny then. They may emote RP phrases about being cocky and confident, but their just abusing the system.

surely the people shouldnt be stupid enough to deal with him should they? if i stand in the street with a sign saying "im a scammer" and people buy stuff off me, who is in the wrong? the buyer made the decision to let me scam them, im not breaking any laws. its not Nerner deciding for them what they do, if they chose to be scammed then its their own fault.

its sad but still funny in a way imo, Mythic actually banned him a while ago due to that he costed them too much money in the form of cancelled accounts, which, is very sad, that people do things that cause others to cancel is not a very nice thing to do. Yes, I am somewhat of an carebear regarding these things. Some people would probably say; cry more and quit if it happened a lot around here on Prydwen. Gotta love griefers and general assholes.

That someone can pull off shit like that and get away with it might be a signal to Mythic that maybe they should look over the ToS a bit?

On a pvp game, this would a valid tactic (everyone did it all the time in games like UO)

In a 'team' based game (like this one), its completely sad and I consider it to be the same as teamkilling in a mmog like Planetside, and it usually doesn't get you anywhere in the long run (or well banned in this case )
