Ok upto about 2 weeks ago i had no problems. Then i load in cata and DR and renew my subs for a month and voila i now have the problem i am just about to tell you about.
I can boot up any game but anywhere between 5 mins and 2 hours i get 1 of two things. Happens with any game not just DAOC.

1) system crashes to desktop. no error message no nothing just closes game. 2) system reboots.

I have tried every bloody driver i can find but none of them seem to help.
I have a radeon 9200 256mb all in wonder card.

Does anyone have any ideas about how to fix this? or even whats wrong.

i offer free cookies to whoever helps me :)

Any idea what sort of temperature it's running at? it could be a number of things, butmost likely at this time of year it's overheating. we have had pretty serious heat recently in england, and if you are experiencing the same temp. rises i am, its likely the room your PC is in is a good 5-10 degrees hotter than a few weeks ago, and hence the cooling inside your PC will not be as effective as it was.

See if you can get something like Motherboard Monitor 5 and make a note of the temperatures you are seeing while playing/immediately after a desktop crash/after a forced reboot. also take a note of the idle temperature. ie while you are not doing anything.

PC Rebooting can be caused by faulty or insubstantial PSU (almongst other things).

Crashing to desktop could be PSU (ulikely though) or drivers.

Faulty memory stick could also cause some of these problems, and as already noted above, do check your temperature.
