Hi Off Topic type people.
I normally hang around the other end of the forum, but it was suggested that I cross post an appeal that I made there, as it's a really good cause so I thought I'd brave it.
Here's the cross post.
Thanks for indulging me,
Cheers
John.

I'm unashamedly spamming for a vote in an online poll.
It's this years National Lottery Good Causes awards, and you may have seen me mention before about raising money for Little Havens Childrens Hospice. It's an amazing cause which is woefully underfunded. Indeed they recently lost £200,000 of funding which was re-allocated to the Olympics.
The hospice cares for children who are dieing. It costs £2.3million per year to run and the government provide £27,000 of that.
The National Lottery Good Causes : The National Lottery Awards
I've been attending an event with my Lotus club for the last few years and we've managed to raise over £125,000 for Little Havens. The do always has a short talk from one of the nurses to let us know why we're there. It always reduces us all to tears.
So please, if you can spare a moment, click on the link and vote for Little Havens, and if you happen to run more than one browser, or, say, work in an office with a ton of machines, then in the best traditions of internet voting, vote early, vote often!
Thank you very much.
John.
