A couple of crafting questions...

Since most of my alts use studded or leather until lvl 20, (skalds, shamans, etc), I never bothered making chain armor at all


Was wondering whether leather quality affects final product quality when making chain?


Also, who makes shields? Weapon crafters?

If it's the same as Weaponcrafting, then the component parts quality makes no difference to the combined part. I'm guessing you have to combine the leather armour with some sort of chain component to make chain armour?

Yes, weaponcrafters make shields
