lol I generally don't agree with religious views but that one is pretty cool.

Seems to be very much an Orthodox thing. Check out the Meteora monastery for example ... monks have been known to fall to their death traversing the high paths in bad weather.

There was also a Byzantine holy man who spent the majority of his adult life living on top of a column. I guess you need a head for heights to join the Orthodox church, which will rule me out - I get dizzy on a ladder.

Very impressive, I'm not very religious either, but that shows alot of faith, and is amazing architecture(sp)?

I've been to St Govans in Wales, which was pretty impressive itself.
