I think its about time that Barrysworld Had a Lan party hosted for Best game ever Quake2.

Perhaps if we can get enough people to show intrest in this article Barrysworld might take up the offer and host one

but if i remember rightly , Carla (?) said that there was somebody/thing that would be willin to back a LANParty in connection with Barrysworld.
Anyways, methinks the BW peeps have their hands full at the minute

I am interested in setting this up.

But I need to know exactly what you guys want, give me details. I'm willing to set it up, but it involves me getting hold of at least 20 computers, some space, and maybe a license to sell alcohol.

Hold it in London somewhere or in the South of England, we are yet to have a kickass LAN party anway near me (Basingstoke, Hampshire). Get around 32 people together at least for Gaming, of course bring your own mahcnine, all you would need is a powerfull server and people to come. Make it Quake 2 for most of the day
8 player CTF 4 teams
pick team randomly or something like that.
4 player DM 8 teams, do things like this all day
get whole clans interested make it a clan day out. Hell a lot of MOD would come
