What is your experience as a crafter, do ppl order 99% (they dont have enough money for MP) or do they order MP more ?

Ask if i have MP's in stock, otherwise order 99's.

Ive never actually gotten an MP order on my armorcrafter.

Willing to do MP orders for AF102 BP's though ;).

I've done loads of MP orders but mostly by people who knew it was expensive and therefore had money saved up for it.

But when I was just LWCer I had loads of orders. Like 20+ a day mostly 99%. And when you make MPs you get some 99ers usually too. They can be sold for premade price.

Well, I've stopped taking orders for 99s completely (except for guild). If it's in stock it goes cheap, otherwise I have better things to do with my time - and the customer is better off buying from another weaponcrafters stock than paying retry price for a 99% weapon.

As for MPs, I'll do those if:

1) I feel I have time and nothing better to do
2) the customer understands that it can get expensive
3) I don't already have a vault loaded with 20+ 99% cast-offs from previous MP attempts of that item

I think most crafters think that way :p

And why shouldn't they? Once they have had experience crafting most come to the same conclusions, that it's boring, frustrating, time-consuming with little in return in terms of profit, gratitude or entertainment.

What I want from the game is fun. Mostly I get this from variety, not by sitting at a forge for 4 hours doing a MP order which doesn't actually give me any profit until after spend the next weeks selling the 99s I make in the process.

So this weekend, I did 1 MP order, sold a few 99s from stock, levelled my 4th and 5th chars to 50, got my 6th to 44, did some RvR, did some item-hunting, some questing, some dungeon raiding and a bit of cash farming.

All in all, I'd say I got a whole lot more out of it than I would have done if I had sat at the forge the whole time touting my weapon stock in /broad.
