this decade has to be the greatest in releasing absolute classics.
anyway just wondering what is your'e fav eighties flicks.i think it has something to do with the fact that now im 30 odd i like to remember the good old days of being a teenager in the 80's again.anyway heres me fav films of the decade.in no order

back to the future. - great soundtrack
ghostbusters.- 2 was shite inmho
48 hours. - roxxxxxannne
american werewolf - shit me shorts everytime i watch this
beverly hills cop. - best thing murphy has done
big trouble in little china. - kim cattrall yum yum.
blade runner. - so ahead of its time an all time masterpiece
coming to america - that barber shop cracks me up
commando. well it's arnie innit.
die hard. - yipppekayeaye.
empire strikes back
return of the jedi
ferris buellers day off -
first blood- amazing scenery.
good morning vietnam. - loved the soundtrack
highlander- my fav film an absolute classic.
raiders of the lost ark
the last dragon
no retreat no surrender - look for van dammes in his first major film
lethal weapon
the lost boys
platoon
predator - wont go in the woods now.heh
rocky. who doesnt after watching this wanna go out running up the street shouting aadddrrriiiaaaann.
terminator - so dark arnie at his best
trading places. cmon who wouldn't do jamie lee in this.

anyway iv'e probably missed a few just so many to like.

I wouldnt call some of those on your list classics by any means (Commando for example) but yes some decent ones there.

For pure cheese Weird Science is teh win, can't believe you missed it in that list as it sounds like a film you'd like?

I've kinda got a thing for Kim, except I can't stand Sex in the shitty.

"THEY LIVE" - Classis line "We're gonna kick ass and chew gum, and I'm, all out of gum" or something like that.

cant understand how you left out Alien (and for that matter Aliens - one of the superior sequels)

Blimey, there are some good films in there. Only one from the top 10 I haven't seen is Ran.
