This is the deal!
5 guilds/teams from each realm, each guild will fight all enemy realm guilds best of 3.
Winning a match, (2 wins out of 3), will give you a "win".
Losing a match, (2 losses out of 3), will give you a "loss".
Losing a "round" will only give you less good stats if it comes to you being tied with a friendly guild!
Killing your enemy team once out of 3 will not give anything.
If two teams of the same realm end up with the same score, the lost "rounds" will be counted. If the scores STILL are the same after this, kills of enemy players will be counted.
The Alb, Hib, Mid teams with most wins and least losses, will fight eachother best of 3 in the end. (The finals has a chance of it being tied, IF SO, wins/losses/lost rounds from the previous fights will be counted to decide a winner).
This tournament is strictly for fun therefor we only want "normal" setups.
That is why we decided following:
Max 2 Battlemasters,
max 3 Banelords,
max 3 Sojourners,
max 1 Buffbot per group.
Resistance buffs will ONLY be allowed from PLAYING clerics/healers/druids/shamans.
Once you submitted a setup with players/classes, you are NOT allowed to change it during the tournament.
Time and place
Will be decided in a locked IRC channel, together with 2 groupleaders and the judge/spectator.
No spectators will be allowed whatsoever. The only person except the 16 fighters that will attend is a neutral bard/skald/minstrel, from the oposit realm of the two fighting ones.
The spectator is there to see that the winners of the fight were not decided by any terrain, nearby monsters/players or link-deads.
The 3 judges/spectators will be decided after the competing guilds have been announced. The judge may not compete with any character nor be in any guild that is competing. He/she also has to be a well known, good sport
.
Kills/deaths will be counted by the nearby buffbots and wont be final untill both teams agree.
Now I know this is not bulletproof and it's not about crowning the king of england, it's all about fun! Soon it wont be just us prydwenites!
Please come with suggestions if you're not satisfied!
PS.
If the interest is big enough we could put more teams in the competition.
Please, if you decide you sign up, only do it with 1 crew/guildmember. After signing a crew/guild here, PM me with names/classes/masterability-lines.
Truly yours,
Niko
