Yeah but in Minecraft you would have to craft a gun (bow and arrow) and also make the level using blocks and then cook some bacon or mushroom soup for health. Then wait till the night for the monsters to spawn in and it would just be like Doom.........kind of.......

It's basically a block editor (think lego) with the ability to add extras, usually community projects where each person has a part to make just to see what comes out the other side when it all comes together
