65535 color mode!!!

Ok, who is clever enough to help this girl get playing TF again?

when trying to join a tf server i get this error :-

Could not initialize GL (wglCreateContext failed)

Make sure you are in 65535 color mode, and try running -window.


I really dont have a clue how to correct this.Come on boys help me out please ;0)

from what I remember...

your missing a dll or you have a dll you shouldnt have.

must try to find out.

herer we are..

just remove opengl32.dll from your quake folder and all should be fine and dandy.

you could also try adding -bpp 16 to your commandline (may need to set desktop to 16 bit, especially if running a voodoo gfx card).

Great, removing opengl.dll did the job.
Now I can be thet top engineer i've been praccying on my own.
I get into a server now but can't seem to traverse in any direction though????.....but i think if i play about then i'll get there. wow this is the day of my rebirth...i'm that happy....i could crush a grape.
