amazing proggy. 3d grafix, decent quality sound. about 5-10 mins worth all condensed into 64 kb

To be fair though - the most impressive thing about it is their condensing proggy.

When it unpacks to do the demo it takes up fuckloads of memory - so the best thing they've got going is some big-ass winzip

Nice tho.....

I suspect that unpacking is the prerendering of the animation before it plays it

They're not trying to though.

Jas - it's not pre-rendered - it's real-time.

All they've done is program a demo and then compressed it so it takes up less than 64k. (Textures/music etc...).

That's the reason they both take a long time to unpack - there's actually quite a lot of data in them.

The only really clever thing is that their packing routine is so amazingly efficient.
