Steam as the main delivery system (its now a good thing, forgot your old ways of doing things). New Cs weapons, major map reskinnings, new maps, new knife graphics, improved (imo) playability.

Things are looking good.

I had aquick go of that 1.6, didn't like it much - I couldn't bind my mb3 (on the mouse wheel) for a start - and I wanna use me cpl buy script

My mouse buttons (all 5 of them, 6 if you count the scroll as well) work fine. Search the steam forums for problems with your particular mouse.

There are buy scripts for 1.6, and the cpl one will be updated when Steam is released officially, which will be the same time cs:cz comes out. With HL2 set for the end of September, I would say we are getting cz and 1.6 by at least the middle of the month.

yep scripts are possible within 1.6.

For buy scripts, the menu selection path (i.e. 6,4,3) is replaced by the actual weapon name (e.g. deagle) which should reduce the size of some scripts.

I still stand by my original statement though . I think the problem is that there aren't enough changes to make the game new for me. We will still have to play the shite maps like dust.



Oh and the number of spazzied headshots seems to be a lot higher. Either way I doubt I'll play it.
